Duking it out with the fabled Swamp Rats for an unprecedented seventh time this season (counting the Team Voltron games with the combined Spiders and CW crew), the Spiders rallied to make a game of it after trailing early, 10-0, but ultimately lost the final game of ’09, 14-10. ’Twas still a mighty impressive feat to effectively play the Rats evenly this year, heading into that final showdown in a 3-3 season-series tie.

This was a challenging year for virtually every team in our local league in terms of personnel, but thanks to the joined IDGE forces of CXO, NWW and CW, we fielded a team every time there was an opponent with enough people to play us.
